Tamukeyama Hachimangu “Hina Nigyo”
At “HARUYA Naramachi”, 120 years Machiya architecture, the dolls of “Setsubun” appeared, according to the season of the Hina Maturi, dolls’ Festival. Dolls made of Tamukeyama Hachimangu shrine, famous for the “Hyakunin Issyu”, invite us to the rustic and modest world that Japanese have nurtured for a long time.
Tamukeyama Hachimangu Shrine, between “Nigatudo” known for “Omizutori festival” and the world heritage “Kasuga Taisha”, is known throughout the country with “Hyakunin Issyu” poems .
On the February 3rd Setsubun, there is the “Ondasai festival” designated as intangible folk cultural asset, and we can be familiar with the ancient Noh dances and songs.
